Our recent discovery in terms of Romanian music is Sore, a young singer who is part of a band popular in Romania nowadays, LaLaBand.
The song we chose to represent us in FSC is a solo project and it is called ‘Different’. Sore’s song is not necessarily different, as it combines beats we have heard before, but in in combination with the video – all filmed in London, it creates a nice summer song. Another one of the catchy beats you might be hearing all summer long. It is a happy tune, provided it’s not on heavy rotation.
Sore, 22, by her real name Sorina Mihalache, was discovered when she was 17, when the producers from Play & Win, who also work with Inna.

Paula Seling is a Romanian singer, composer, radio DJ, occasional actress, and a coach from television music competition franchise X Factor, Season 1. She has released more than thirteen albums (including three Christmas albums) and over twenty singles, including two top-ten hits in the Romanian Top 100 and a minor European hit which entered the charts in Finland and Norway, as well as the UK Singles Chart. Paula provided the Romanian dubbing in Cars 2, for Holley Shiftwell.
She represented Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, with Ovidiu Cernăuțeanu, with the song "Playing with Fire". They finished third in the final.She then participated in Dansez Pentru Tine (Romanian Dancing with the Stars) where she finished third. From October, 2011 Seling was a juror and mentor in the Romanian X Factor. In 2011 she collaborated with Al Bano and Plan D. In 2011/ 2012 she sang a song called "I'll show you" with Alexander Rybak. The song, which is written by the later, had premiere 30.05.2012.

Maria Apetri (better known as Fallulah) is a Danish-Romanian singer and songwriter. Fallulah grew up in Tårnby on Amager island, the southern suburbs of Copenhagen. Her Danish mother, Lillian Apetri, and her Romanian father, Nicolae Apetri, were the initiators of the Balkanic folklore dance group Crihalma. Therefore Fallulah spent much of her childhood on dancing tours in the Balkans and in Eastern Europe. This activity ceased when she lost her father at the age of nine years. They then moved to Jyderup in the north west of Zealand, where Fallulah continued with her dancing. At age 21 she moved to New York to start at the Broadway Dance Center but then moved back to Denmark to focus on music.
