Me voilà même si mise à nue j'ai peur, oui

Me voilà même si mise à nue c'est fini

Me voilà même si mise à nue c'est fini
Me voilà, me voilà, me voilà
Voilà, voilà, voilà, voilà
Voilà

Even if you don't understand french you can enjoy this interview. She's such a lovely person! And OMG: Elle est BELLE!!!:love::love:
She says she was very stressed before her performance and very relieved After.
She doesn't know how she'll stage her song in Rotterdam.
She has acknowledged she'll have lots of promo and work, but she's happy to work and not afraid.
She thanks everybody that supported her.
She enjoyed meeting other participants and connected a lot with Juliette Moraine backstage.
She can't wait to watch her performance as she's not used to perform for TV.
She's happy to carry on her Eurovision journey After Carla and Valentina for whom she wrote the entry.
Voilà ! :)

I want to like this more than I do. She has a great voice and I really like the orchestrations. But.. the melody isn't really there for me. With a tune/chord progression more to my liking this could have been a 12 pointer, but for now it's going to have to be a 6 pointer. Could possibly become a grower, though.

A bit too artsy... don't feel the connection to this one as much as I had with Gjon's song last year which was my favourite by a landslide. But she is absolutely stunning and radiates so much personality. Great performer!

It's fine. It's just not memorable or even that pleasurable to listen to

I am so happy that Barbara is going for France, but seeing the music video well...it does make me a bit worried.
The musicvid is very artsy, very french too as the song already is. Feels like a bad choice to showcase who Barbara is and her talents, since she doesn't sing or lipsynch at all to the song. I am afraid that normal people, who will start listen to the songs in april when it is getting closer to the actual contest, might see this as hard and too artsy and may snub it prior to the night. That can lose votes in the end, even if it might be so that France are trying to set the bar a bit lower, to surprise everyone on the night...but maybe I am overthinking things... xthink

I like it, it's artsy, but not offputting, though I agree that it isn't really memorable and I'd rather watch the NF performance.

I hope the French delegation plans a simple staging like in the selection and doesn't go artsy for the grand final.

I've read that the music video is just a part of a small trilogy of music videos, meant to showcase the three singles for Bab's next album. I don't think France TV has anything to do with it, it seems like a narrative she wanted for her own work.

In case you missed it

Can't believe I'm the one publishing it

Beautiful music video. Our singer Aina Abdul also released her latest music video "Sepi" yesterday
And have the same aura and atmosphere as Voila.

I must admit, on repeated listens it is a little less impressive. I do think that it's because I don't speak french so cannot connect with the lyrics. Her passion, the rhythm and the staging are very impressive on first watch, and that's what counts so I still think it has massive potential.
