Neither Hatari nor AWS are „rock“, „metal“ or „new metal“ but do we really want to talk about sub-genres when even the main genre is so rarely represented in Eurovision?
I am a Metal fan too (true Metal ;)) but I am speaking Eurovision here so I just call it rock or metal. 😄

I don't understand the comparison between Dark Side and Hatari either, I only band Dark Side reminds me of in ESC is Manga from Turkey, both songs have elements of Rock, Pop and Rap

Personally, I think that "Dark Side" is the right choice for Eurovision and I can totally see them perform very well and being ranked #13 or higher in the end but I just fell in love with "Kelle mä soitan" again. I honestly think it's one of the most beautiful ballads I have ever encountered in any national finals. Even though I can't understand a single word, it totally moves me and makes me feel for her. The pre-chorus is absolutely beautiful, the chorus is so powerful - I love the whole production and how pure and pristine and powerful her voice sound.

WHAT. A. SONG.
