Ilta's song is very good. The beginning of the song wasn't great, but after minute ago it got better.

My top 7 UMK 2021:

I hope, Blind Channel is our entry in ESC 2021, but also I am okay with Teflon Brothers feat Pandora and Ilta. Aksel Kankaanranta still is Plan B.

I like Ilta's song. She could be a contender.
I see her as a good compromise between what the fans actually want and what's the right thing to do.

Blind Channel's song is like Linkin' Park circa 2000. It's refreshing to hear in ESC, that's all.

Aksel's song is alright. But I prefer "Looking Back".

Iita's song is actually not bad, reminded me of a typical ESC ballad upon second listen. Can't put my fingers on which one to be exact. Maybe the 'live' performance will elevate the song further.

I dig the instrumentals to Telfon Brothers' song. Love the 80's influences. But the verses are such a letdown to be honest. The chorus is just basic but still somehow make it somewhat catchy.

I can actually see Oskr's song being played on the radio these days. It's actually pretty good, but the ending of the song is so abrupt actually. And also, it's in same vein as Aksel's song.So I can see both of them cancel each other out.

Seems like I am the only one who actually think Laura's song is pretty good? Not a winning song, but it has a nice modern country-influenced melody to it.

Danny's song. I am sorry. Not my kind of song.

I have to add, that I really like Ilta's song, but as someone mentioned before, would it be in English, it would sound bland, I think. It's rather the language that makes the song beautiful.

For quite some time now i've been saying that Finland should be doing what they're good at. Metal. So i'm glad to see Blind Channel - Dark is being liked quite a lot. (Even though it's quite mild metal, i don't think that's a bad thing for the ESC audience )

I agree with @RainyWoods Blind Channel's entry is too watered down for my liking as well. Initially, I thought I would love this after listening to it for 20 seconds but overall, it's too cliche and wannabe-ish.
It's so try-hard. They try to be cool, like putting the middle finger in the sky and shooting a bullet kind of type but to me, it sounds really childish. It's like they try to be a heavier version of Linkin' Park.. Just with ridiculous and embarrassing lyrics.
It will probably be alright for Eurovision since it's rather mainstream and I guess that we won't be getting any other rock entries this year.
I can't get the AWS comparisons, tbh.

1. Aksel "Hurt" : The song is so sweet and his voice it beautiful, I can't stop listening to it

2. Oskr "Lie" : Thanks Oskr, I really needed this song in these times, It made me cry

Very Good :

3. Ilta "Kelle mä soitan" : Lovely song, it was beautiful and I had goosebumps
4. Danny "Sinä päivänä kun kaikki rakastaa mua" : Ow this Danny is really touching, my stomach was hurting me when I readed the lyrics, beautiful song

Yes it's not whole time screaming but it's almost screaming and rapping (rap is the style that I hate the most). I actually hoped that they'll be like Softengine but sadly it's not ^^
