Have not thought about it that much, but I have really enjoyed Montenegro since their return. You have the really whacky ones (Euro Neuro, Igranka), and this year Knez was one of the best performers. Last year was a bit meh, but still solid.

I'm looking forward to the next edition because I'd like to get rid of all these ties, it's annoying. Other than that, it's no surprise that Slovenia rocks my ranking.
was my #1 in 2013 and this year, my #2 last year, my #5 in 2012, and my #8 in 2010.
So it's my fave country in 10's, especially they didn't compete in 2014.
To answer this question one need look no further than Romania! There are some countries that seem to randomly fire out a fantastic tune one year, only to follow it up with a stinker the next (I'm looking at you )
But I have always enjoyed the consistency of Romania's entries so was a bit saddened to see them disqualified this year. The Balkan Girls, Playing with Fire, It's A Miracle, Zaleilah, are all examples of great, up-tempo Europop at their finest - and that's before we've even discussed Tornero! The latter of course placed very well in Athens but even the other songs deserved much higher finishes than their eventual mid-table rankings. I was also a fan of De La Capat last year but think that the well-intentioned staging of their song ultimately confused most of the viewing public.
So in conclusion... if you're seeking a country that delivers a consistently good song year after year then look no further than Romania.
There is no single San Marinese entry that I dislike in the history. The same counts for Italy since their return in 2011.
I guess I can count Estonia also, since they have been my personal winner for 3 times in last 6 years. Although I find one other entry very unbearable.
In last 8 years, there are only two songs I find ok-ish and the one is really improving recently.
There are no other countries that I mostly like their songs, countries are really variable each year. But there are some countries I barely find a song I like from them. Maybe I'll post them later.
I'd probably say France. They used to be Eurovision giants, and even now when they don't do as well, I think they put out great music. Also the French language is amazing!
Just off the top of my head the ones I love are: 1960, 1962, 1969, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1981, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, so many great songs! x12s
