Not even a Tommy Cash fan at all but... Espresso Macchiato is fantastic. I thought there was a chance he'd have to carry through with the brand and persona, but I like the song and the people I know like it too. Have had it on repeat since this morning when I first heard it. But yeah, it's not even half the story lol. He's promising an extravagant promotional and social media campaign if he were to win Eesti Laul, and I have high hopes for the staging of course. He's in the Little Big-Käärijä-Joost realm, but with even bigger ambition, I doubt any of his journey is gonna be disappointing. Not everyone's gonna 'get it', but that's far from a requirement to do well.

2nd fave is An-Marlen. I love the song, I love her, it's not going to come any close to winning, but I still think she has huge potential as a pop artist.
LOVE Ant Nurhan, fantastic singer and person with great potential as well to do some great things. The song didn't hit me though, I know he really wants to make it to Eurovision and I know he has a fanbase behind him, because he won Superstaari, but he's gonna have to come back and I hope he does.

It's gonna be Tommy.

Espresso Macchiato is such a gem. It is simple, effective and REALLY into Eurovision bubble. It is winning for sure.

Yeah, Tommy's definitely another love-it-or-hate-it song. Fun and catchy for some and annoying lame joke for others. Kind of like 5Miinust last year, but probably even more divisive. Well, anti-voting isn't really possible for televoters, so you just have to hope there are enough who fall in the love camp. Tommy should be happy we no longer have a 2-song superfinal, if it gets to that point come February. Juries are another matter. Wonder if we'll get another more 'Eurovision friendly' EL jury this time, like last year. If so, Tommy could do OK, provided his vocals aren't a total mess. If it's a bunch of serious music professionals tho', things will be unpredictable. With 16 songs, the odds of potentially getting a jury 0 definitely increases.
I guess my ideal superfinal would currently be Stereo Terror, Zevakin and Tommy. :giggle: Would be fine with several other too tho', and who knows what the live performances will bring.

I'm not worried about the jury. Tommy is very well known for him to get at least around 6th place.

Sincerely, Eesti Laul songs this year are kinda underwhelming. For sure the worst edition in years, songwise.

Elysa is IMPRESSIVELY bad. What the actual GARBAGE?!

I'm not surprised: Fire was garbage aswell. I don't get what She did to be so hyped up by the fandom, tbh.

Different type of garbage though. Fire was at least comically bad. Like, ESC is music as entertainment rly, and it was entertaining to watch.

Elysa's bad song (forgot its name) is "Surface" (that awful Simon Peyron duet from a few years back) with twee vocals. Not a single second of it will be interesting, and *every* cloying second of it will be irritable and tedious.

Like I wouldn't be surprised if even Looren refuses to touch its grime.

ESCGeek doesn't lie. EL is easily the least good selection of the four (and I can already says this after listening to only half of FiK lol)
