I'm going with a :0: when poll opens up.
I get Finland trolling EBU after what hapenned in 2023, but it's a pitty that Estonia is doing the same.
For me Tommy Cash is solely a comedy sketch like Windows95Man was last year, but I don't find it funny, also it may just me, but it kinda gives me strong Euro Neuro vibes.

"Espresso Macchiato"...y'know, it's been going on for a few years, and I think I'm ready to say that I could've done without "I Don't Feel Hate" being easily one of the most influential Eurovision entries in history from a sheer "number of imitators" perspective. My Eurovision favorites list from years past is filled with all kinds of entries that got labeled "joke" entries at the time, but they weren't so...lowest common denominator and boorish as these last few years'.

Honestly, upon a little more reflection I don't think I blame Jendrik for these types of songs but rather Mikolas Josef. That's probably the better comp for all these songs for me.

Speaking of Mikolas Josef, though, at least he's only going after the "dumb, sophomoric little man" nachos rather than the "misogynistic undertones" ones. Lookinatchu, Andrei Zevakin.
I stand by all this.

I'm gonna do something maybe a little brazen and give this a :0:. When I gave Kant :3: in anticipation of something worse, this is exactly what I meant.

Lmao get FUCKED, Estonia.

This is embarrassing. Reinstate juries in the semis, this will only get worse if this continues.

:1: point.
No, thank you.

International juries massively voted for that song in Eesti Laul as well.
They would make Estonia qualify with that song in May as well.

tbh the more painful thing about this is the realization that KÄÄRIJÄ has turned into the Elon Musk of national selections. Someone should get him a lolly and put him to bed.
Käärijä? Just kind of an annoying edgelord?

They voted for him. IN EESTI LAUL. Where he was the overwhelming favourite.

Please mainshow, do not be foolish to think that the context of EL is identical to that of Eurovision proper. I'd hoped you'd be more discerning than that.

This is a Eurovision song from 2025.
We may not enjoy it, but that is what the demographics want.
8p from me.

This is my new leader and a potential winner. The first challenge for Tommy will come tomorrow already when Armenia is selecting.

:12: POINTS! xyaay

Coincidently Estonian and Armenian national finals are my favorite this season so far

Juries at ESC won't be really more professional either.
We've seen KEiiNO's female singer and Marvin Dietmann and Victor Crone in Eesti Laul ranking the songs... such former ESC acts/people will get a spot in juries in May as well.
"Espresso Macciato" won't be finishing high but there will still be "professional" musicians ranking it higher than expected whilst being reasonable for making "Blackbird" :fi: fail, for example.

We need less juries. Those votes in Eesti Laul and MESC have been ridiculous this year.

With a bit of autotune and backing vocals, they can probably make the song work reasonably well in Switzerland. It's more or less a Cha Cha Cha situation. But it's a good example of why juries that value quality must be there.

The problem with juries is that they will feel guilty for their guilty pleasures and misvalue precious gems such as Espresso Macchiato due to their "professionalism". Thankfully that's what televote is for, which also allowed No Rules! to qualify last year thankfully xheart
