Unsurprisingly, there haven't been many ESC entries in odd meters. The most well known and recent is of course Macedonia's "Mojot Svet" from 2007, in 7/8 time:

Also, Greece 1996 was in 7/8:

What do you think of these songs? And do you know of any earlier examples?

I missed two obvious ones. Latvia's "Probka" from 2009, at least partially in 7/4 :

And a real surprise, though i've known about it for long, Norway 1966! In 5/4....

I wonder if there's any more examples from the "good old days" ?

Missed Serbia 2005, in a oddly slow 7/8:

Also the chorus of "Watch My Dance" has an "extra" beat in a weird place, you can consider it to be 9/4, or one bar of 4/4 followed by 5/4, i dunno if this is something common in Greek pop or why they did it!

That one had completely passed me by as a 7/8.
It does sound quite slow when you think about it like that, so it's not all that obvious because the song itself sounds quite energetic. Let's just say a disco bass incessantly thumping fourths wouldn't work in that song.

Sudden Lights - Aija alternates between 5/8 and 6/8, kind of messy and not really a convincing song IMO.
