I can't think of any Southern European entry to Eurovision that has ever sounded like this song.
I meant how this looks not how it sounds, but since you mentioned that - it kinda gives me that 2016 Moldova vibes

Oh, yeah, the visuals were horrible. Probably the worst staging of all competing acts in the competition. But I'm afraid it has to with Sissal's principle of "staying true to how she feels" etc - so I'm worried they won't change it.

Ultimately, it's the mistake of the organizers, DR, that they made Sissal look so bad. It also had to do with her hurting an ancle shortly before the show.

Very enjoyable show tonight 😊
My two friends, whom I went to the show with, voted for Sissal, while I voted for Adel the Second.

Anyway, happy with the results 😁

It's a nice track, that doesn't hurt anyone. But in the second part it gets way too repetitive.

That´s not a compliment though. 😅

Gonna listen to the song later, need a pause after the long night.
Wasn't meant to be one tbh. I had two favorites in the superfinal and one I wasn't too keen on, Guess who won.... xwall

Given the way this year's contest is shaping up to be one of the worst for me in a very long time, a fairly average and seen it all before banger scoring this well from me says it all.

Denmark have got a great vocalist here let down by some sheer awful staging that distracts more than anything. The outfit doesn't suit the song either and again I think that's hampering things.

It's not a groundbreaking song by any means but amid a sea of joke acts and sex-starved women on stage this year, it might stand out as 'normal' and benefit because of it. If the staging is sorted and she's given a better outfit, I feel like it can qualify - but probably do nothing in the final of note.

A strong 7️⃣ - which I think is the second highest I've scored this year. 2025 is a mess of a contest...

:4: from me. I think they can improve the staging, make it more memorable, the song is called hallucination, they can have interesting stuff that they can do. The song is average, very eurovision early 2010s. Eith Finland and Malta in semi 2 I really doubt that Denmark will qualify to the final...

2nd listening: I instantly feel this is gonna be a big fader. And it doesn’t even start at a high level. The lyrics are really really stupid.

According to the news media, everybody - including DR and Sissal - agrees that the staging must be improved. In my opinion, the most important thing is her outfit, but that hasn't been mentioned so far other than in various comments on social media.

Btw, it's the third time in a row that the jury "overruled" the Danish televoters regarding the winner. My own view on this is that the presence of a jury is okay with regard to appreciating artistic quality, but if the jury's main purpose at a NF is to choose a song they think has the best chance of doing well at Eurovision, then I'm against it. It's a national final, and the format should be loyal to that nation = the viewers.

Mmmmh... This is a traditional Danish entry. It's not badly made, it sounds all right, but also very generic and forgettable...
