Croatia needed 5 points to advance in 2011.

At 10th it was Norway. And who pushed Norway into the Finals? Sweden of course with 20 points alone, 2nd most points from Belgium with 13 points. 10 televoting points from Azerbaijan for the love story, and that's it. Croatia was robbed by the Scandiblock and the Efentix love story.

In 2022, a lot of points are missing to 10th place: 28 points to Iceland, another Nordic country. It's hard to deduct any of their points due to biases, since their Top 3 voters aren't Nordic and Norway and Denmark only awarded them 20 points in total. Croatia's scoring was indeed quite mediocre and only the massive televoting and jury flops in the semi swept them up to 11th place.

Croatia themselves got massive support from Slovenia (20 points), and the rest of their scores come from the Balkans or their diaspora (ch, at). It looks more like an unduly saved flop, although I love the song.
