I think we are about to get a gospel-ish pop ballad - I mean, didn't :at: say that the song is of a genre which hasn't really been discovered by Vincent yet?

The official statement refered back to Vincent's career as a musician. His Eurovision entry is something "new" to him, a genre has hasn't recorded songs in before.

I know but then what I am trying to imply is that it's a little too soon to get another entry from a similar genre from the same country by the same gender. I have low expectations but hopefully it's not that.

I honestly don't know what to expect. I think that Vincent got a very good voice and I'm pretty sure he's a good performer but his last entry was a bit generic and dull to me (still totally acceptable and solid... but nothing to write home about).

"Maps" was announced in all uppercase letters. "Omaga" is styled in all lowercase. It's a stylistic choice. (well, it is 'A Choice', that's for sure. :rolleyes:)

I know I shouldn't judge et all but... I don't think I could be less excited for Vince if I tried. I lowkey hated 'Alive' and if he harrasses us with another Bruno Mars-esque horror...
