My favourites after the snippets are..

Artemisa Mithi & Febi Shkurti Artmeisa was one of my favourites from last year and this sounds beautiful (and hipxheat).

Lorela Sejdini This one interests me the most of all. Seemingly starts out with a simple, quite haunting acoustic verse before exploding into a super fast dance chorus. I can see myself possibly going crazy for this one.

Aurel Thëllimi Something about that aaAAaaAA aaAAaaAA hook I find enticing. I think this one could be really powerful.


I need to hear more of Klodiana's song before having an opinion. I get why people are excited for it because it's obviously presenting a particular vibe. All we've heard though is what seems like a verse and pre-chorus.


I'm disappointed that Rezarta Smaja misses her first Festivali i kenges since she started competing:cry:

I overlooked this one when listening to the 1 minute snippets it seems. The full song is very nice. She's got a bluesy voice.

I haven't listened to everything yet but Aurel's song is giving me Fik winner vibes, if he can pull it off live.

Klodiana's song delivered a smoking hot chorus. I'm officially on board the hype train. That key changexheat I can't wait to see this performed live with the orchestra.

I can see MIRUD winning, he is from Kosovo, just like majority of Albanian representatives recently...

Yeah, i'm not into this one. The only part i'm kind of feeling is the pre-chorus bit but the rest leaves me feeling cold. On the upside it doesn't sound like an Fik winner at all so maybe we'll avoid it. Probably means Klodiana will have a tough time too, although her song gives me vibes of some Fik winners from the previous decade.

Jonida Maliqi - "Ktheju tokës" seems popular at YT too.. it features some ethnic singing elements..

My favourite is definitely Mirud. His voice is stunning and carries the song. I also love Jonida, Klodiana and Orgessa just to a lesser extent.

All together, a very strong national final, Albania delivers again.

I didn't like too many when I listened to the snippets, but now, having the long versions, there are quite a few that I like. Considering my first impressions, I mostly like (in no particular order though):

Orgesa Zaimi - Hije
Kelly - A më ndjen
Jonida Maliqi - Ktheju tokës
Klinti Çollaku - Me jetë
Klodiana Vata - Mbrëmje e pafund
Aurel Thëllimi - Të dua ty

Jonida reminds me Serbia 2018 a little bit. I don't like Mirud's song - yeah yeah, a song about mom, mommy's boy, too soft & sugary for me. But I want to see the live performance. I bet Inva Mula wants him to win and I certainly don't mind that.
