Last edition we asked if Sex sells, as was once proclaimed. We have since learnt it does not. Especially not when the majority of the listeners are gay and it was the wrong sort of Booty.
Anyway, we live and learn, and then move on. So what are we moving on to? Well we're moving onto an album track for the upcoming edition, a total banger from a European import. As usual, we wont reveal everything to you. However, we will share some hints. Just below...
Well that lasted long didn't it.
Urgent investigations are taking place to see how our entry could end up representing another country. It's been a state of disbelief and shock, originally decided to totally withdraw from this edition, but we have since foundan alternative. We were approached by a duo, both from California who wished to represent us with their song. A completely different vibe to our original choice, but equally as impactful we hope. So as is usual, here is a hint:

Everyone was going crazy wondering where the budget would come from, who can be bothered with punching out 40ish banners that look decent, how we will host & all the drama along with it. So much so we completely forgot to drop our hint. Well, originally we were going to send one song that would have had one juror very happy. We're not doing that now, but it is coming soon. We come down to 2 songs for our PQ, both Uto repelent. We decided to go for the one with a Spanish flare cos why not. Naturally ofc we wont release any vital clues but the below emojis provides a hint:
Hosting is over again and we're back at drawing already for the next edition looking at what our entry could be one. perhaps one of the 2 potential winners I have sat waiting and keep a perpetual cycle of Western USA - Cyprus hostings. Nah. We're not feeling it, and to send a song we have to be in the mood for it. We're going to send something that a certain WV member is going to be hyped to see us finally sending. We've had this waiting to be sent since before our HoD returned to Western USA from Sweden. Has it potentially missed its prime hit spot? maybe, but we'll send it anyway because it slaps. As usual, no name drops etc. Just a clue in the form of emojis:

Phew! Ava Max came through and delivered another top 10 result with her hit song, Dancing Done. Back in LA the team is straight back to the drawing board to pick our next entry. We had discussed some potential songs in our bank, but decided to go with a new release. We're going for diaspora with a 3 way international collab. We're really starting to hit hard into Autumn now, but hopefully this entry will give us all one final summery burst. As usual, we will provide emoji clues.
Well that was a bit of a curveball, where the hint meant absolutely nothing at all. It was kind of strange how proceedings went this edition. We had chosen our entry and were making preperations for the next stage of the edition in Brussels. Suddenly Bebe Rexhas' song was playing on the radio and we had a urge to send it last second and change out our entry. It stirred controversy with the Belgian delegation who were not expecting a late entry change but here we are. Sometimes a kneejerk spur of the moment change is the right thing to do, only time will tell.
With all of the commotion and drama of last edition with the quick change in entry last second, this time we're going in completely certain of our entry. A recent new release has us completely hooked and we're looking forward to sending it to Iceland and for all of you to hear it. As usual we wont reveal any details on our entry, but what we will do is provide you with some emojis below to hint at what our entry will be:

That is how we look at the next edition, after Madison was so scandalously robbed in one of the greatest miscarriages of justice to happen. As usual we have many artists and songs coming forwards hoping to represent the purple flagged region in the prestigious Worldvision contest. This time we've been approached by a returning artist with a contribution we're throughly excited about sending!
