Juries always make some questionable choices and there's (and will be) conversation about scratching them or at least lessening their influence.. But ultimately if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have a contest next year. So there's that.

Not even for singing only but overall package - give the artsy and more niche but authentic and interesting entries some love. That should be the juries' job. Giving more points to Estonia over Albania as a jury is INSANE to me.

Both need serious revamps, clearly. I don't care for them being same-ish - we have two separate voting sources for a reason. Televote needs to be more protected from scheming and juries need actual criteria to go by - maybe they have some but they are clearly not following it.

I wasn't even rooting for Austia to beging with, but thank god, I guess. The second half of the televoting results was really really sour for me. Eh, whatever. I'm really happy with Albania's deserved high televote points.

Her performance tonight was insane. The huge mic prop is amazing, yes, but the star of this whole thing is HER. Absolute rockstar, nobody owned that stage tonight the way that she did.

I don't think this one is for me unfortunately. I can appreciate how technically this is good and JJ is great and all + the breakdown towards the end is a nice surprise.. but for the majority of the song it sort of felt like I was listening to a Youtube "Nightwish vocal cover" or something...

I dunno.. when it first came out, I sorta thought so too But I think Sweden has a very similar thing going on, but actually good, and they would certainly soften the blow. Then there's Australia as well... And even Prison Cake has a similar shtick going on of it survives the semi so who knows...
