After listening to the song again, I began to find it a bit boring.
The music video is very good, but the girl seems to be a little uncharismatic. xshrug

When I heard the clapping at the beginning of the song, I wasn't very optimistic but the song is actually quite good. I will give it 12 points although I don't approve of the clapping. I am generous today. :)

This song has something. For the moment I give it a 7 to 8 but I feel, that this has the potential to grow significantly....

I've listened to this a few times now and I absolutely love it. The music video is also great. Her voice adds a lot to the appeal of the song. Belgium is my number 2 behind Italy now.

I really like it: the whole Lorde/Lana del Rey style sounds great, but what I truly enjoyed is that it sounded different, low-ley, almost coming from the soundtrack from an upcoming summer movie... but I can't imagine this winning. It will do very well, top 10, maybe top 5, the juries would love it, just can't see the audiences falling for it enough to take home the victory. I kinda wish I'm wrong, but we'll have to wait and see.

The second listening made it better for me, but just like with the czech song a little climaxe would've helped. Like a break of the monotone beat or some more play of her voice, which is fascinating me. I do not join the hype train here.

look at the flag lmao
I can't see why people are comparing Czech entry and this. "My Turn" is a jazzy, upbeat-ish ballad meanwhile "City Lights" is dark, indie Europop, which i was definitely not expecting, and i'm completely shook. Staging could bring top 3, even the first spot to Belgium.

WoW, im very positively surprised with this song! xbow :be:
Dark, indie pop, right in my ally.
10 points! Only problems I have is that Its a bit repetitive and it Will heavily rely on staging to be successfull.

So nice to see the improvements our southern neighbours have been making the past few years

Eurovision this year must be really bad, when people are hyping an entry as average as this. :p

As much as i love this, i really dont think it can win Eurovision, its too Indie and not mainstream enough xshrug this can go top 5 depending on staging

Jamala's song was very mainstream, right? I think everything's possible.

The first time her voice bothered me but now I'm beginning to love her voice, it absolutely fits in! Agnel Obel feat. Francis and Royksopp... I'm starting to love it more and more.

The music video is great but I don't get the hype tbh xshrug . I like it if it did well eventually in Kyiv, Belgium really deserves it (love you, southern neighbors!), but for me it wouldn't be for the song.

Don't get me wrong - it's definitely good, and it's at least different than usual in ESC, but just don't love it as others seem to do. Maybe I need a couple more listenings.

Definitley the most modern song this year. I don´t love it, but it´s at least ok and I think, Belgium can do very well in May again.

I prefer The Netherlands this year! :)
