The fifth round of our forum’s ranking game concluded this weekend as the 17 eligible songs were voted on by the members of our Eurovision forum.

With 72 sets of votes counted, it was Italy who won the fifth week of voting, with Mahmood’s “Soldi” holding on to the top spot he debuted at in the fourth round and amassing 610 points overall.

Second place went to Spain’s Miki with “La venda” on 424 points, far behind Italy but rising one place from the fourth round. Falling one place into third is Albania’s Jonida Maliqi on 401 points.

The highest ranking new entry came from Hungary, with the returning Joci Pápai finishing 5th with on 334 points. Other new entries in this week’s ranking game include Romania in 8th place, Lithuania in 12th, Denmark in 13th and Germany in 15th.

The sixth round of voting has now begun, with the newly selected entries of Belgium, Finland, Iceland, Moldova, Norway and Portugal entering the mix. Will any of these have what it takes to reach the top spot, or will a previous challenger gain traction with our forum members?
