The EBU’s reference group has confirmed preliminary dates for the Eurovision Song Contest’s 62nd edition to be held in May 2017.

Europe’s biggest celebration is set to take place over three nights as usual next year, as confirmed during today’s heads of delegation meeting. The first semi-final is set to take place on May 16th, with the second semi-final on May 18th and the grand final penned for May 20th 2017. It is of course up to the discretion of the host broadcaster whether the dates will be changed, but we can now already look forward to next year’s contest.

Other details about next year’s contest are unconfirmed, of course including the host country. Stay tuned to ESC United as we bring more details from the upcoming contest in Stockholm as well as the future of the competition!
