Although several months have passed since we saw the final bows in Turin, the alumni of Eurovision 2022 are seeing continued success — and Spain’s excellent bronze-medalist Chanel Terrero is no exception. Per the Spanish Twitter account for Disney Plus, the Slo Mo singer will soon be wowing not only Eurovision fans, but Disney fans too. She is set to perform the title song of Disney’s new Pinocchio film, in the Spanish language version.

The song, ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’ (‘La Estrella Azul’), originally appeared in 1940’s animated film Pinocchio, and was awarded the Academy Award for Best Original Song. The new film is a live-action remake of the 1940 classic, directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Tom Hanks.

In a brief clip posted by Disney Plus, Chanel sings a short sample of the song:

Chanel is clearly excited: on her personal Twitter, she exclaims: “It’s real! I’m a Disney girl!”

The film releases worldwide on Disney Plus from Thursday, the 8th of September.
