Since Panik Records announced that Andrew Lambrou had been internally selected as the country’s 2023 Eurovision act in October of last year, fans have been waiting to hear what the island nation was cooking up.

Today, fans got their answer.

Panik Records debuted the official music video for the ‘Break a Broken Heart’ on its YouTube channel this morning. In the lead up to the video’s premiere, Andrew was interacting with fans in the YouTube chat, thanking them for their support and celebrating the culmination of two years of hard work. (See right.)

You can watch the music video below:

Fans may remember that the 24-year-old belter previously competed to represent his native Australia at the 2022 edition of Australia Decides, placing 7th with the song ‘Electrify’.

Cyprus was represented at the 2022 contest by Andromache with the song ‘Ela’. Though she did not qualify for the Grand Final, it’s worth noting that she did finish Top 10 with the televote. As this year’s semis are 100% televote, Cyprus may very well find itself back in the big show.

Do #YOU think Cyprus will be back in the final this year? Are #YOU excited to see Cyprus trying something a little different? Sound off in the comments below, in our forum, or on social media @ESCUnited.
