This weekend, Sweden’s circus, Melodifestivalen, comes to a close. The final comes live to us from the Friends Arena in Stockholm on Saturday. At the show’s end, we will know who is representing Sweden at Eurovision this year.

After 5 weeks, 4 heats and 1 semi-final we now have our final running order. The show will run like;

  1. Jon Henrik Fjällgren, Arc North Feat. Adam Woods – Where You Are
  2. Tone Sekelius – Rhythm Of My Show
  3. Mariette – One Day
  4. Marcus & Martinus – Air
  5. Panetoz – On My Way
  6. Maria Sur – Never Give Up
  7. Smash Into Pieces – Six Feet Under
  8. Kiana – Where Did You Go
  9. Nordman – Slapp Alla Sorger
  10. Loreen – Tattoo
  11. THEOZ – Mev Ar Dig
  12. Paul Rey – Royals

The running order is decided by the competition producer Karin Gunnarsson who says the line-up ‘gives a strong and varied starting field’.

The winner will be decided by a 50/50 international jury/televote result. We should see the juries results first before the all tense moment of the televote at the end.

The last few years have brought some tense final moments with the 2020 top 2 being only split by 1 point at the end of voting for The Mamas to win. 2021 saw Tusse win every single public vote category gaining 96 points on the televote.

Viewers from across Europe will be able to watch the final live on SVT Play. Last year, Cornelia Jakobs beat Anders Bagge to win Melodifestivalen with 146 points. She went onto Eurovision to finish 4th with 438 points.
