In addition to our previous reports of PZE25 disqualifications, today we were met with the news of Milan Nikolić i banda’s withdrawal from the national final.
The news broke earlier today through a statement shared on Milan Nikolić’s official Instagram account, leaving fans surprised. While no clear reason for the withdrawal was provided in the Instagram post, Milan Nikolić addressed the fans briefly:
“I am addressing you as a musician and an editor of PGP RTS. Unfortunately, due to newly arisen circumstances that I will not be commenting on… I have withdrawn from the ‘Pesma za Evroviziju’ competition and have resigned from my position as an editor of PGP RTS.”
In addition to Buč Kesidi and Dram, this is the third PZE entry that will not be performing this season.
This announcement marks yet another twist in what has already been a tumultuous pre-Eurovision season. With disqualifications, withdrawals and reshuffling of participants, the competition is shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable in recent years.
