Today saw the second stage of Etapa națională take place, that being the live audition stage. After the first stage of the national selection had concluded, a total of 29 artists were invited to take part in the live auditions. Here a jury would decide solely, who would be the lucky ones to move onto the third and final stage.
Recap of the Live Auditions
Before the live auditions took place, it was announced that Eblansh Band had withdrawn their candidacy to represent Moldova due to one of the members ending up being hospitalized in Romania. With that, the number of invited artists for the live auditions dropped to 28 acts, with a total of 29 songs. Only Sasha Bognibov had managed to enter two songs into the following stage of the competition.
With that settled, these were the 29 songs invited for the live auditions:

- NORDIKA – Ludmila
- NR.11 – Bye
- Pavel Pașcan – Alăturea De Tine
- Poops ft. Zaffi – Destinul
- Predein Cristian – Moldovian Dance
- Priza ft McMike – Kookoo
- Rina – Dorințele
- Royals ST – Zboară-n sus
- Sasha Bognibov – All-night Party
- Sasha Bognibov – We Changed Our Gender
- Sasha Khanedanyan – Silent Hills
- Sasha Letty – Haute Couture
- Tanya Tudor – Bring Me Back

Prior to the selection taking place, Valleria was disqualified due to arriving late, and AnnaG and Dan Alexandrov did not perform during the live auditions, so the final list of performances included a total of 25 acts and 26 songs.
Selecția Națională 2025 Finalist
Shortly after the live auditions had concluded, the points from the jury were gathered and added together, in order to determine which acts had scored the most points, in order to advance to the televised national final.
These are the 12 finalists, which will compete on the 22nd of February:

The national final will be decided by both the televote and a national jury. For the live auditions, the jury members consisted of 5 members, being Andrei Zapșa, Vlad Costandoi, Victoria Cușnir, Elena Stegari & Moldova’s 2016 representative Lidia Isac.
