It’s been one hectic weekend, with multiple winners pouring out from different European countries, but more was to come, as Armenia had decided to add a bit more to round the weekend off. Depi Evratesil made it’s comeback for the first time since 2020, with 12 participants.

Depi Evratesil 2025

For 2025, Armenian national broadcaster (AMPTV) decided to revive their national final format known as Depi Evratesil. This was only the 4th edition of the national final, after it was also used as the selection method in 2017, 2018 and 2020.

The national final gave 12 acts the chance to perform live and impress both viewers and jurors, in order to be selected as the nation’s upcoming representative.

These were the 12 acts of the national final(sorted by running order):

  1. Parg – “Survivor”
  2. Sevagir – “Falling”
  3. Anahit Adamyan – “Tiny Little Boo”
  4. Mels – “Losing”
  5. Simon – “Ay Paparay”
  6. Flora Bichakhchyan – “Prayer”
  7. Gevorg Harutyunyan – “Hey Man”
  8. Altsight – “Dare to Dream”
  9. Anahit Hakobyan and Gasolina – “Wild”
  10. Arsen ft. Kamil – “Will You Marry Me?”
  11. Milena Mirjanyan – “Romantic Net”
  12. Athena Manoukian – “Daqueenation”

The show was hosted by Ani Khachikyan and their 2014 representative Aram Mp3. The show also featured guest performances from their 2021 Junior representative MalΓ©na who won the contest, their 2023 representative Brunette and of course from the host himself, Aram Mp3.

Results

The winner was decided by three equally divided groups, them being a local Armenian jury, a international jury and the public vote. Both jury groups fully agreed on the top 3, even being in the same order as well, with Simon being the jury darling in each group. However, the public vote wanted it a bit different and instead had Parg as the favorite, which also heavily affected the final outcome, with the top 3 finishing as follows:

  1. Parg 214 points
  2. Simon – 197 points
  3. Athena Manoukian – 192 points

The public vote weren’t as fond with Simon, who placed him 4th. Thanks to Parg following closely with the jury vote, he could claim victory at the end.

Armenia will participate in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest, which takes place on the 15th of May.
